About Maria
Massage has been a passion of mine for over 30 years. I am also a Dancer, Dance Teacher, Dance Movement Therapist, Visual and Performing Artist and Dressmaker. All of these things inform my massage and healing.
My dance training and obsessive exploration Anatomy and Physiology; how the body work. My study of Vibrational Healing, my spiritual faith, and belief in the interconectedness of all things see and unseen, has all been a part of enriching my body work/massage skills and ability.
Over the years I have developed my own particular style of Body Work. Along the way my influences have also come from by many styles of massage and other Somatic work such as Alexander Technique and Body Mind Centring.
The Pioneering spirit that led me to explore Body Work, Somatersization, Visualization in movement and Vibrational Healing has enabled me to gain a rich knowledge of the Body and how to reconnected it to the soul and mind.
This gift is what I give to those who come to be massaged and healed by me.
